Maitland Bathroom Renovation Hunter

The bathroom was outdated and lacked functionality for the client’s needs. The bathtub took up a lot of space but went unused.

Initially, the area consisted of three separate compartments: a toilet, a bathroom, and a vanity/wash area with an archway entrance.

We demolished the dividing walls, reinforced the ceiling, and opened up the space to create a spacious, unified bathroom.

To maximise the sense of openness, we installed a cavity sliding door, allowing for efficient use of the available area.

Elegant and Functional Bathroom Design

After completing the plumbing and electrical rough-ins and fit-outs, the design elements were carefully curated to achieve style and functionality.

For the walls and floors, we used 300mm x 600mm rectified gloss white wall tiles, arranged in a brick pattern from floor to ceiling. Complemented by sleek 300mm x 300mm grey floor tiles.

To enhance convenience and practicality, we incorporated a shampoo nook, a recessed shelf strategically placed within the wall, at both the shower and bath areas.

We added all the bathroom accessories, basin, vanity, toilet and tapware installation, and the shower area has a sense of luxury with its frameless glass enclosure and a hinged door.

Broadmeadow Bathroom Renovation Newcastle

The old bathroom at Denison st Broadmeadow was an old and outdated disaster.

This prompted the client to call us for a renovation to create a more practical and modern bathroom space in their Broadmeadow home.

The bathroom renovation at Broadmeadow was a true transformation, designed to create a stunning and awe-inspiring space.

Originally, the area featured an outdated and run-down bathroom with a separate toilet and a wardrobe in the bedroom, presenting spatial challenges.

The shower area underwent a complete overhaul, adorned with sleek and glossy 600x300mm rectified white wall tiles that extended from floor to ceiling, creating a seamless and modern aesthetic.

Complementing the walls, the floors were outfitted with stylish 300x300mm grey tiles.

The centrepiece of the renovation was the addition of a wall-hung double vanity and a freestanding bathtub, elevating the space to new heights of luxury and sophistication.

To enhance accessibility, a walk-in shower area without a hob was incorporated, ensuring a seamless and convenient experience.

Lambton Bathroom Renovation

The client explained that it was an older, outdated bathroom layout that did not meet their requirements for a functional, easy-to-use shower area.

They said the bath was too small, and inconvenient for their growing family.

So after seeing our sign around town, they reached out to discuss their Lambton home’s bathroom and how to transform it into a more functional and modern space.

The client loved the fact that we offer full project management and gave us the go-ahead to start work.

Transforming the Outdated Lambton Bathroom

The first step of the process was to remove all existing fixtures and to completely gut the space. We knocked out a wall and added some extra SQMs to the floorplan.

• The walls were glossy white rectified tiles, 2.1 meters in height, creating a clean aesthetic.
• The floor was laid with 300×300 tiles, complemented by added tile features.
• A walk-in shower, featuring a frameless glass shower panel

To maximize storage space, a 1200mm wall-hung vanity cabinet with a china top was installed, along with a wall-hung 1200mm shaving cabinet with finger-pull soft-closed doors.

The transformation has breathed new life into the once-crowded space, creating a serene and stylish oasis.

Started by getting rid of all the old parts, walls, tiles, floor etc.

Removed the old shower and fully replaced the old bathtub with a brand-new one.

We added chrome fittings and installed a 1200mm mirrored shaving cabinet. 4 Sides External & Internal Polyurethane Soft Close Hinges.

Glass Shelf, wall-hung vanity 1200mm Slim China Top, Finger Pull gloss white soft close.

1700mm back-to-wall freestanding Left-hand corner bath, 1100mm radial shower screen.

Back to wall rimless toilet, niches with floor tile in the rear to break up white walls 600X600mm porcelain floor tiles, 300X600mm gloss white wall tiles.

10 X rail heated towel rail, twin shower (overhead and handheld). The result is simply stunning.

Edgeworth Bathroom Renovation Newcastle

This client needed an immediate bathroom makeover. The old bathroom was dated and in need of an overhaul.

After an initial consultation, we handed them some drawings of the proposed bathroom, to lay it all out clearly for the client.

They were impressed with the design and the quote and we proceeded with the re-model.

To begin with, we ripped up all the old floors and walls with our initial demo of the site. The bathroom was fitted with full wall-to-ceiling tiling that gave a great impression.

As part of the project, we added a feature tiled shampoo shelf and some matt black fittings. Other features include a wall-mounted fold-down shower seat and a back-to-wall rimless toilet.

The 1200mm mirrored shaving cabinet with External & Internal Polyurethane Soft Close Hinge and Glass Shelf was installed.

This was followed by a 1200mm Slim China Top. The cabinets had Finger Pull gloss white soft close doors. A frameless walk-in shower was installed.

The customer was very happy with the final bathroom and would recommend Rook Building to their friends.
