This house is on a steep block in Kotara where the client just had a suspended carport installed which resulted in a 2m drop off.
Needing more access to other areas of the block, the client call us to install a stair case. This was not a problem as we have done this kind of work before.
To begin with, we install Weldlok hot dipped galvanised Dual Stringer to support the 240mm solid Merbau hardwood step treads.
Then we added a concrete pad at the base, and installed the 90mm x 90mm Merbau posts. We then added the 90mm x 45mm handrail for added safety while traversing the stair case.
Now the client has a beautiful staircase which provides easy access down side of the house.
