Classic-designed houses are full of elegance and beauty. Both the exterior and interior designs are alluring. This one is a home that was built in the 1930’s.

It has all the charm and elegance with big rooms and high ceilings. However, this house had very little done from the last 90 years.

For ensuring the safety and durability of this classic house, clients called us to help them with the renovation. And we have done a complete renovation.

First, we inspect the whole house to find the areas that need an urgent renovation. We reconfigured the internal walls. Then we install a complete and new modern bathroom, laundry and separate toilet.

We also made the kitchen look new with Caesar Stone top and stainless-steel Westinghouse appliances.

After that, we proceeded to renovate the living room. We removed an old wood fireplace so that the living room will look more alive and modern. In terms of the windows, we replaced its old double-hung timber windows with aluminium sliding windows. With this, it will look more modern. After that, we install all new down-lights and 2 feature pendant lights, all new power points.

Thanks to Zapt electrical Cardiff for assisting us with all the electrical installation in this house. All the plumbing problems are also solved. We complete new plumber throughout. Thanks for assistance from the pro plumb Wallsend.

After the internal aspects, we then go to work on the outsides of the house. First, we re-sprayed the tiled roof and gutters. Then we total paint everything inside and out. We also changed the flooring into new floating flooring in living areas.

Then we put the carpet in the bedrooms. We installed new doors and handles including front and back. Then, we removed 30 tons of dirt and rubbish from the back yard. We then laid a curved rock face block retaining wall and new turf.

An absolutely transformed house!

Sunrooms Designed With Year-Round Living In Mind are great for every home. These are specially designed rooms that have large glass windows to allows a lot of sunlight to enter the room.

This job was a little unusual. The sunroom we built at Cessnock had been crashed into by a car and ended up becoming an insurance job.

The client immediately called us to help them with the renovation of their beloved area. Because this is an insurance job, the assurance for the damaged property to recover or change into something new is important.

The damage of the car cashed made to this sunroom is severe and given us a lot of work to do. Before we started to work on it, we first inspected the sunroom, and found out that the car damaged both the brickwork and the windows.

We removed 3 windows, a section off the ceiling and 70% of the brickwork.

To ensure the durability and strength of the new wall, we changed the bricks into a brick veneer wall. (Brick veneers are external, non-structural brick walls that conceal a structural wall of another material like steel and timber.)

For this sunroom, the internal wall is made from timber and plasterboard.

We matched the brick veneers with the existing brick wall. We laid the wall and pier to match the original design and colour of the brick wall. We also installed new powder coated sliding windows.

Then the plasterboard which is the internal wall is painted with modern Pascal grey. This colour is way better than the canary yellow which is the old colour of the wall.

Turns out, the new appearance and insulation of this sunroom are way better than before!

Cool Sunroom Renovation and Upgrade at Minimbah Close Wallsend

This place in Wallsend had a home handyman awning; we removed it and built a full waterproof functional sun-room.

We used Cooldeck for the roof/ceiling.

Coolrock is an all in one product which is composed of roof sheeting, insulation and a gloss aluminium ceiling cover.  The best part is you never need to paint it. 

We then use the standard 90mm timber stud frame and Gyprock to walls.
