This home was a small, re-locatable house with 2 bedrooms. The client wanted to extend this little house for more convenience and space for their growing family.

First, we inspected the home on how are we going to extend it. After that, is game on, and into the renovation.

We added on a huge extension of 6m X 7.2m. This extension gave them an additional master bedroom with en-suite and a lounge room. We also stripped the existing rear deck & patio roof.

After that, we poured concrete mix to pier holes where we laid down brick piers. We also install H3 LVL bearer & joist, a 19mm green Tongue & compressed flooring in the en-suite area. We stood prefabricated timber frame & trusses.

Next up we installed colour bond roof sheeting with the anti-condensation blanket, barge, and guttering.

Later we installed new windows and doors plus relocated another window. We had to get some Forever Board cladding to match the existing ones.

Then we install plasterboard, cornice and hung doors.

We put a modern en-suite in using wall hung vanity with china top, fix frameless glass shower screen, back to wall toilet, use 600 x 300mm gloss white rectified tiles with grey grout.

Zapt electrical installed in-cased LED down-lights including 4 lights in the existing house and 2 new fans.

We replace front deck board with Merbau screw-less decking boards plus 2 step gal stringers and 2 x 1200mm Merbau treads.

The clients were extremely pleased with the result, time frame, and cost. Once the existing cladding is clean it would be hard for anyone to tell inside and out that there has been an extension.
