This awesome bathroom renovation we did in Wallsend Newcastle turned out fantastic.

To start with the existing bathroom configuration was a bit disjointed. There was a 3-section bathroom, has a separate toilet, wash area and shower/bath.

It was tidy but had a leak caused by a waterproof issue, and the client was getting older and wanted a walk-in shower (no door).

We strip everything from the bathroom, removed the toilet, and the floor in the 3 areas and opened up the space.

We waterproofed and laid 300 x 300-floor tiles and large gloss white wall tiles, install a new bath and a fixed panel frame less shower screen.

We installed a large overhead shower with a hand-held option, chrome mixers, and accessories.

We re-used the old toilet and vanity (as they were relatively new).

I’ve been back to this project 2years later and it looks as good as the day the renovation work was completed.

To start it was a very dated bathroom and laundry. Wooded trims and vanity, along with cream/brown bath and toilet. Salmon coloured wall tiles and small brown floor tiles. It wasn’t just dated but hideous.

There was the bathroom, a separate toilet, the entryway from the rear door, and then the laundry. We reconfigured it to be a bathroom incorporating the toilet entryway and laundry. The reconfiguration of the area allows easy access to the three spaces – laundry, shower, and toilet.

In the bathroom, we installed an 11 jet spa bath with shower over, back to wall toilet and wall hung vanity, all new chrome mixers and accessories. The modern perspective of the new appliance gives a whole new look at the entire bath. The luxurious jet spa bath with shower over acts also as a Jacuzzi spa, suitable for ending a hard day’s work.

In the laundry we re-configured the wardrobe and relocated the dryer with a wall exhaust next to it. The closet, together with the dryer, makes laundry duty more efficient.

We also painted all the doors and trims gloss white to brighten and modernise the three spaces. The white paint adds emphasis to the entire bath and laundry, giving it a unified look.

This home was a small, re-locatable house with 2 bedrooms. We recently undertook and extension for this little house to give the owners more convenience and space for their growing family.

First, we inspected the bathroom and planed how are we going to make the most of the limited space. After that, is game on, and into the bathroom renovation.

The goal of this extension was to reconfigure the existing bathroom that includes shower/bath, tiling, waterproof, and pc items. Then we remove the existing skirts to allow for a floating floor.

We put a modern en-suite in using wall hung vanity with china top, fix frame less glass shower screen, back to wall toilet, use 600 x 300mm gloss white rectified tiles with grey grout.

Zapt electrical installed in-cased LED down-lights including 4 lights in the existing house and 2 new fans.

The clients were extremely pleased with the result, time frame, and cost.
